Exit 1 regional wastewater project moving but two of three partners still need full funding, PSA says

Carroll County Public Service Authority staff told the authority on June 2 that the Exit 1 regional wastewater project remains under discussion while staff seeks more information from partners and engineers.
Mike, PSA staff member, said the authority is "still waiting on some more information" and that currently "2 out of 3 partners has the funding." He said the authority is exploring more cost-efficient approaches with the project engineer so the project can move forward once funding and design details are resolved.
No vote or formal action was taken on the Exit 1 item at the meeting. Staff did not provide a timeline for final partner commitments or for when a full funding resolution might occur.
