Kane County IT names interim leads after court case-management project manager retires

Kane County IT announced at the commission meeting that long-time project manager for the court case-management project, Bob Enright, recently retired and staff are reallocating responsibilities while a permanent replacement is sought.
Roger Fonstock, IT and building management, said the county is reassigning Enright's work to several staff members to ensure continuity. "We have Dave, one of our lead sys admins, assisting with managing the projects. We have Gary Pokrany, who is one of our project managers that's picking up things and joining meetings," said Charles Lask of the IT department. Lask added the county expects to name a dedicated replacement within a few weeks and that applications and the applications group are stepping up in the interim.
No formal personnel action or job posting was approved during the meeting; staff said the position is being reclassified in the budget materials and that when they backfill the role the salary may differ from Enright's previous rate.
