BOERNE, Texas — Kendall County officials updated the Commissioners Court Tuesday on an application to the Texas Motor Vehicle Crime Prevention Authority (MVCPA) to fund automated license-plate-reader (LPR) cameras produced by Flock Safety.
County staff said the original request proposed 83 cameras; the county reduced that number to 57 at the court’s request. The change lowered the county’s required 20% match from roughly $68,000 to about $43,051.
