KENDALL COUNTY, Texas — The Kendall County Commissioners Court voted unanimously Tuesday to amend its fiscal 2025 budget and reassign $1,000,000 from a general mobility improvements account into a new county capital projects fund earmarked for the TxDOT Herff Road/Highway 46 project.
The change moves the money into Fund 71 (a new county capital projects fund) and establishes a department-specific line identified to show the county’s committed match for the TxDOT project. County staff said the move is meant to demonstrate a firm local commitment when TxDOT and the Alamo Metropolitan Planning Organization evaluate project funding.
