The Town of Nantucket Zoning Board of Appeals on July 10 approved its meeting agenda and minutes for Feb. 19 and March 4, 2025, granted a continuance for an application concerning 40 Low Beach Road and then adjourned into executive session.

Chair Susan McCarthy opened the regularly scheduled meeting at 1:03 p.m. and led roll calls and routine business. The board voted unanimously to approve the agenda as drafted and to approve the minutes from the Feb. 19 and March 4, 2025 meetings.

The board granted a continuance for application 2025-0014, filed by George and Tiffany Cloutier and represented by Linda Williams, for the property at 40 Low Beach Road. The board voted to continue the matter to the ZBA's next regular meeting on Aug. 14, 2025, at 1 p.m., held in person and via Zoom.

During the public-comment portion of the meeting, an online participant, Adam Salman, raised a hand unintentionally and apologized, saying, “It was an accident.” No other public comments were offered on matters outside the agenda.

Under "other business," members agreed to postpone the board's election of officers until the Aug. 14 meeting. The board then voted unanimously to adjourn the open session and convene in executive session; the topic for executive session was on the meeting agenda and was not read aloud during roll call.
