Worcester ballpark cancels Youth Work orientation; staff update event scheduling and website access

The Worcester Ballpark Commission was told a Youth Work summer orientation it approved last month will not move forward because organizers found it financially infeasible and a related agreement with the WooSox had not been finalized. Commissioners discussed event scheduling, upcoming bookings at Polar Park and changes to the city website intended to make the community-day application easier to find.

Commissioners and staff said the canceled Youth Work orientation reduces the slate of commission-approved community events in the coming months.
