Commissioner Grieve — who will join the subcommittee — told colleagues she now has more time to participate and will help assemble a syllabus and materials for review. The commission asked staff to coordinate meeting logistics and to supply any outstanding materials to support development of a standardized training resource on the city website.
The commission’s action preserves continuity of the subcommittee while signaling a desire to institutionalize training so future planning‑and‑zoning members are better prepared.
