The Worcester License Commission approved the transfer of the package-store all-alcohol license for 108 Canterbury St. (Randall Package) to Falcone Corporation.

Attorney Matthew Porter represented Falcone Corporation and said principal Jay Paul Patel has a decade of retail experience and that the proposed manager, Rajnikamp Patel, is a current principal of the seller and would remain as manager. Porter said the ownership group and manager are alcohol TIP certified and that there would be no changes to hours or business operation.

Sergeant Needham reported no objections from the police department and confirmed nothing statutory prevents the appointment of the manager. The commission voted unanimously to approve the transfer.

The commission advised the new owners to ensure staff are TIP-certified and to coordinate any inspectional requirements needed to finalize the transfer.
