Whiteland Stormwater board approves minutes and vouchers amid balance discrepancy, OKs $10,000 mapping entry

The Whiteland Stormwater Management Board on July 7 approved the minutes from June 11, 2025, and voucher packet 7925 in separate 3-0 roll-call votes while staff and members discussed a $10,000 mapping and software line item and a discrepancy between printed and emailed account balances.

Board members voted to approve the June 11 minutes after a motion and second; the roll call recorded Amy Dine, Michael Hendrickson and Ben Scarpozzi voting yes, with the motion passing 3-0. The board later approved voucher packet 7925 by a separate motion; Jamie Dine, Hendrickson and Dennis Capovi recorded aye votes and the motion passed 3-0.

The board reviewed financial figures presented in the packet: a stated fund balance of $21,070.08 and month-to-date revenue of $71,111.14, with bank interest reported at $2,786.15. Members noted a discrepancy between the printed packet balance (a version dated July 3) and a later emailed balance (dated July 7). The chair said the emailed July 7 figure appears to be the most recent.

A board member asked about a $10,000 line described in the packet as "Argus" mapping and software. Staff said $2,000 of the amount is a one-time setup fee and the remaining $8,000 is a renewal; next year the cost will be split among stormwater and sewer budgets. The board did not further amend the voucher packet and approved payment as presented.

No formal policy changes or budget reallocations were adopted in the meeting; members limited action to approving the minutes and voucher packet.
