Roni Raj Verma updated the Planning Board on the Community Preservation Committee’s work, reporting that the St. Paul’s Church restoration project was approved by the City Council in April and is moving forward.
The committee is obtaining contractor quotes for refinishing stained glass, addressing moisture control, and repointing stonework. The speaker said the committee will provide additional updates once a contractor is selected and construction begins.
Why it matters: the work will use Community Preservation funds and addresses preservation of a local historic property. Planning staff and committee members will monitor the project and report back to the board as work progresses.
