At the Dawsonville City Council special-call meeting, City Clerk Beverly Bannister asked the council to ratify changes to authorized signers on the city's accounts at United Community Bank.
"We already got the signature cards ready. It just need you to have an approval, for the change that we have on the signature cards for all the bank accounts at the, United Community Bank," Bannister said.
Council Member Mark French moved to approve the change and Council Member Sandy Sawyer seconded. The mayor asked members to signify their votes; the transcript records the motion and second and the mayor's request for a vote but does not provide a recorded tally.
No additional details about which officials would be added or removed as signers, or about any internal controls changes, were stated on the record.
