Council approves Purdue Northwest car-show at Prairie Meadow Park on Sept. 7

The Westville Town Council unanimously approved a request from Purdue Northwest to use Prairie Meadow Park for a Formula SAE car show on Sunday, Sept. 7.
Councilmembers said the event organizers asked to use the park outfields similar to the pumpkin festival layout; if that area is unavailable staff suggested moving the event to the pavilion. Councilmember Korske moved to allow the group to use Prairie Meadow Park on Sept. 7; the motion was seconded and passed 5-0. Council asked staff to contact the organizer to confirm details and scheduling conflicts.
