Board amends school funds to pay for Bartlett High School practice-facility design

"This resolution came to us late. It is for the amendment being a Bartlett school department general purpose school fund for fiscal year '25. The funds will be used for, Bartlett high school practice facilities for architects, engineering services, and contracted services," Mr. Phoebus, director of finance, said during the meeting. A motion and second carried the resolution without recorded opposition.
Board discussion on the item was brief and largely supportive; one alderman joked about playing football on the old fields and welcomed the new practice facilities. The resolution authorizes the appropriation but did not specify contract awards, architect names or construction timelines at the meeting.
