Board approves superintendent contract amendment, raises placement to Step 4 at $300,718

President Glenn read an oral summary required by law before the vote, saying, “Effective 07/01/2025, the superintendent’s placement on the superintendent’s salary schedule shall be moved from Step 2 … to Step 4, with a commensurate salary of $300,718 and no cents.” The board then conducted a roll-call vote that passed 4–0.
The amendment, the board was told, makes no other changes to the existing employment agreement. During the meeting a board member pointed out an error in an earlier readout of the contract term; the board clarified the motion extended the contract through June 30, 2029 and proceeded to a roll-call vote.
No additional details about fringe benefits, TSA contributions, or other contract language were changed, and the board did not send the item back for revisions. The board’s action was recorded as a formal amendment to the superintendent’s contract.
