The Webster Central School District Board of Education administered oaths of office to newly elected members and completed organizational business at its July 8 meeting.
President Linda DeGardi and board member Carol Barnabas were administered the oath of office. The board conducted nominations and roll-call votes for board officers for the 2025-26 year; the transcript records nominations, seconds and roll-call affirmations. The board approved its 2025-26 board goals and adopted liaison assignments and committee participations for the year.
The board also approved its consent agenda, which included a number of new hires; administration noted that Human Resources (Mr. Swanson referenced in the consent agenda context) has been active with hires over the summer. Policy updates (Policy number 73165685) received a second reading and were approved.
These organizational items were handled in series as the first substantive business of the organizational meeting; no public speakers spoke on these items during the meeting.
