The superintendent said the division is exploring how to leverage artificial intelligence in instruction and supports. Amanda Bickerstaff, co-founder and CEO of AI for Education, met with staff in June; Dr. Keever said the division will designate AI ambassadors representing each school to help build student AI literacy.
He encouraged families to use the Williamsburg Regional Library’s summer reading program and offered practical suggestions to keep reading active across the break. Dr. Keever also said the division has conducted a superintendent transition survey and will schedule listening sessions at schools and town halls in the coming weeks to gather more input.
