Staff said the change came at the request of Reed Elementary's principal because some buses and staff arrive before 7:30 a.m. Committee members agreed that a 7:00 a.m. start through 4:30 p.m. would cover arrival and dismissal activity. Staff said signage and ordinance language will be updated so enforcement can begin under the new hours.
The committee recorded a roll call vote with Armstrong, Merritt, Lynch, Hartman and Martin voting aye; the motion passed.
