Council approves transfer of appropriations within EMS fund to correct budget coding error

The fire board gave a favorable recommendation to the transfer earlier, the chief said, and staff noted an additional appropriation from EMS revenue will be required to make the capital outlay line whole as approved.
Council had no substantive questions and passed the resolution by unanimous vote. The resolution corrects internal line-item allocations; the council did not specify the dollar amounts during the public discussion nor approve the separate additional appropriation in the meeting.
