"Exhibit B does show the latest updates that were done as a result of the recommendations from the United Way," Todd said.
The ordinance was discussed at the item’s second reading. Council members had no additional questions after the presentation and moved to adopt. The motion to adopt was made, seconded and carried 5-0.
The council did not take additional amendments during the meeting. Staff indicated the updates reflect legal review and the town will publish the revised materials as part of its ordinance record.
The new ordinance supersedes portions of Ordinance 2014-25 related to rental registration and inspection; the council adopted the 2025 amendment as its formal second reading and adoption.
