Staff noted this agreement is structured differently from a typical engineering contract: town staff will provide review and inspection time, and the developer will reimburse the town for that staff time rather than providing separate engineering services in the contract.
Council moved and seconded approval; the motion passed by voice vote. Staff said the developer has a contractor lined up and construction activity is expected to begin within several weeks, and that the council will see final project closeout and acceptance at the end of the project.
Staff will return with the final project completion materials and verify that on-site work meets town standards before final acceptance.
