The City Council adopted the North Miami five‑year consolidated plan (2025–2029) and the FY2025–26 Annual Action Plan for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships programs during its July 8 meeting.

The consolidated plan and annual action plan will guide the city’s use of federal CDBG and HOME funds for housing, public services and infrastructure projects. The public hearing on the item was opened and closed at the meeting; staff noted HUD review and the need for follow‑through on projects identified in the plans. The council voted 5–0 to approve the documents.

Staff advised continued coordination with HUD and county partners for grant administration and to pursue identified project funding opportunities.
