Supervisors said the contract raised questions that the group wanted to resolve by phone among themselves and with the ISG Group’s attorney. One supervisor said the pipes were in place but excavation work had not begun and that there was no urgency to sign the agreement immediately.
A motion to table the item until the next board meeting was made, seconded and approved. A staff member was directed to place the item on next week’s agenda so supervisors could complete their review and negotiate language intended to protect county interests before taking formal action.
