The Weber County Commission appointed members to two county advisory bodies Tuesday, voting to fill vacancies on the Western Weber Planning Commission and the Weber County Board of Adjustments.
By roll-call vote the commission approved Resolution 29-2025, appointing Emily Rogers to complete a one-year term on the Western Weber Planning Commission and reappointing Cammy Klontz as a city representative for a four-year term. Rick Grover presented the candidates and the terms to the commission before the vote.
The commission then approved Resolution 30-2025 to fill three vacancies on the Weber County Board of Adjustments. The commission appointed Neil Barker and Miranda Espiritu to full terms and designated Louis Decker as the alternate member. Grover explained that board terms are generally five years and noted one vacancy resulted from an expiring term.
Both resolutions were moved, seconded and passed by roll-call vote with Commissioners Ford and Harvey and Chair Bolos voting in favor.
No public comment on the appointments was included in the record, and no dissent or abstentions were recorded. The commission adjourned after completing the appointments and other agenda items.
