Grace also described a citywide youth needs assessment and strategic plan for ages 12–25: stakeholder interviews, focus groups and most of the focus groups have been completed and consultants and partners will analyze results over the summer with a planned early‑fall summary to the committee. She urged nonprofit partners to provide survey responses and to coordinate event outreach; committee members named Healthy Vallejo, Boys & Girls Empowerment and other nonprofits as active partners and noted Measure P as a local funding avenue for youth programs.
