Rolla City Council approved final reading of an ordinance authorizing the mayor to execute a contract with Meyer Electric Company, Inc., for Pine Street lighting improvements.
Staff said the project was funded by funds set aside by the TDD board. At the meeting staff described the bid as coming in under budget and noted that one remaining Pine Street-related project will use the remaining TDD funds for wayfinding signage in the downtown area.
Staff requested final reading to authorize the contract for $179,008.26 (figure presented in the agenda packet). Council conducted a roll-call vote and recorded affirmative responses; the ordinance authorizing the mayor to execute the agreement was approved on final reading.
