Council doubles buffer in marijuana-facility rules to 1,000 feet

City staff presented the ordinance as an amendment to Chapter 25 (zoning and subdivision) provisions related to marijuana facility regulations in section 25-36. On roll call, Mayor Liz Gibbons and all council members present voted in favor; the mayor announced the bill as approved.
Staff will update zoning maps and application guidance as needed to reflect the larger separation requirement for marijuana facilities.
