Council approves City Manager annual-review process and timeline

The Winooski City Council approved Monday a proposed schedule and tool for the City Manager’s annual performance review.
Under the schedule approved by the council, the review survey will be distributed to council members and the leadership team the day after the meeting, with nine days allotted for responses. Councilor Charlie agreed to compile the results; the council will discuss the results in executive session on Feb. 3 and staff proposed sharing a public summary around Feb. 18.
Mayor (name not specified) said the process uses an updated review tool the council adopted last year. Councilor Judge (not present to speak during the vote) was noted as supporting the timeline. Councilor Charlie moved to approve the process; Aurora seconded. The council approved the motion by voice vote.
