Winooski Liquor Control Board approves two conditional licenses

The Winooski Liquor Control Board voted unanimously Monday to approve two items on its consent agenda, including a new, conditional first-class restaurant liquor license for Don Wari Korean LLC and a conditional renewal package for Lara Trading, doing business as O Market.
The approvals came after Jenny, a city staff member, told the board that “Staff has no concerns over these. Just waiting for inspections.” Deputy Mayor Thomas Werner moved approval and Councilor Charlie seconded; the board approved both items by voice vote.
The Don Wari Korean LLC application was described in the meeting packet as a new restaurant application and a first-class liquor license, both conditional. The Lara Trading package was listed as a second-class liquor license renewal, a tobacco license renewal and an additional renewal item listed as “substitute,” with all parts described as renewal and conditional. The staff representative said inspections remain outstanding for the items.
