The Laramie City Council on July 1 unanimously approved a slate of consent and regular-agenda items that city staff described as routine items supporting operations, downtown improvements and emergency-management coordination.
Items approved 9-0 included a small-government enterprise agreement with Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc. On the consent agenda, the council approved minutes, cemetery deeds, vouchers, the Laramie Urban Renewal Agency 2024 annual report, a grant application with the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation and a temporary use of a county liquor license within city limits for an event on July 12. The council also approved a resolution correcting a scrivener's error on Resolution 2024-100 related to a surface-water drainage fee credit and passed on third reading an ordinance adding a resort-hotel liquor license to the Laramie Municipal Code effective July 1.
Separately, the council passed a resolution, 9-0, to support economic mobility and opportunity efforts through an ICMA grant of $24,000. The meeting recap notes the grant amount and the council's unanimous vote; it does not list individual roll-call votes or motion makers in the recorded summary.
