Vice Chairman Lundrum presented the Board of Public Works report and moved the council to accept both recommendations. Council members asked about the original budgeted amount for the window and door project; the board noted a budget of $475,000 in the minutes. Both motions passed on roll-call votes of 9-0.
The window-and-door contract award names Omni Glass and Paint LLC of Oshkosh as the low bidder at $460,961. The board also certified final acceptance and final payment for contract 7-23 to Carl Bowers & Sons Construction Company Inc. in the amount of $45,142.63.
