The City Council on July 1 approved a final plat for a tract in the R&R Commerce Park South Phase 5 and separately approved the second amendment to the subdivision agreement for the same development.
Pat Sullivan, representing the owner group and the SID, told the council the plat is largely routine. “This is about as generic and boring a plat that you're gonna approve this year,” Sullivan said, adding that the addition will produce “about 3 and a half percent debt to value ratio.” Sullivan was joined by Mike Homa of R and R Realty Group.
Councilman Gaines moved to approve resolution R250135, the final plat; Councilman Fanslow seconded the motion. The council voted 8‑0 to adopt the plat. Later the council approved resolution R250136, the second amendment to the R&R Commerce Park South Subdivision Agreement; the motion to adopt the amendment was made by Councilman Ingram and seconded by Councilman Gaines and passed 8‑0.
Sullivan told the council he and the owner group were available for questions but described the items as standard for industrial-area development. The city did not provide additional detail on the amendment’s substantive contractual changes during the meeting transcript.
The motions closed with unanimous council approval and no public opposition recorded on the record.
