The Natchitoches Planning & Zoning Commission approved a reverse-subdivision by Artoon and Leslie Raymond to combine two small lots in Country Club Acres into a single buildable lot for a single-family home on Chinquapin Drive.
Staff reported no public responses were required for the subdivision notice because the filing was a subdivision matter only. The director explained Lot 7 was a small pie-shaped remnant after a state right-of-way cut and that combining Lots 8 and 9 (the filing described Lot 9a) would create a parcel above the minimum lot-size threshold for single-family construction.
Commissioner Wainwright moved to approve; the motion carried by voice vote. Staff instructed the applicants to provide the mylar survey so staff can gather departmental signatures and record the plat; commissioners explained the usual recording steps, including payment for recording and return of a certified copy to planning staff.
