Greater Egg Harbor board elects officers, approves routine items; superintendent reports on gym repairs and Special Olympics

Carol Houck was elected president of the Greater Egg Harbor Regional High School District Board of Education at the board’s organizational meeting; Marge Gunther was elected vice president and routine business, education and personnel items were approved by the board.

The board’s routine organizational votes set leadership and approved consent items on the agenda. The secretary cast a unanimous ballot for Houck for president after nominations were closed; the board then cast a unanimous ballot for Gunther as vice president. The board also moved and approved the business agenda items listed as B1–B3, education items E1–E2, and personnel items P1–P2 by roll call.
