Williamsville Board Re-elects Crystal Kaczmarek Bogner as President; Mark Mannon Elected Vice President

The Williamsville Central School District Board of Education held its organizational meeting on July 1, 2025, and elected Crystal Kaczmarek Bogner president and Mark Mannon vice president for terms ending June 30, 2026.
The outcome followed nominations, brief remarks from both vice president candidates and a roll-call vote. District clerk Lynn Carey ran the election process and led the roll-call votes. Crystal Kaczmarek Bogner was the only nominee for president and received unanimous support in the roll call.
Mark Mannon and Dr. Carrie Spicer were nominated for vice president. After both candidates spoke to the board, the roll call produced five votes for Mannon and three for Dr. Spicer; the clerk declared Mannon the vice president-elect. Dr. Spicer told the board, “I am ready to take on the mantle of vice president.”
Board members and the clerk then administered the oaths of office for president and vice president. The board president and vice president will serve until June 30, 2026. The board also approved, without recorded opposition, the election process used at the meeting.
The board handled other organizational housekeeping at the same meeting, including appointments of a parliamentarian and timekeeper and the adoption of annual authorization items.
