Board to draft letter thanking longtime youth services coordinator; position posted

During the June 30 meeting the Fall River Board of Health asked department staff to draft a letter thanking Christian McCloskey for more than 20 years of service as the city’s youth services coordinator. Department staff confirmed the position has been posted and that the department held an internal gathering where the mayor presented McCloskey with a citation.
Board member Michael Coughlin said he worked closely with McCloskey and asked the board to sign a letter acknowledging his service. Tess Curran said she would draft a letter and circulate it for signatures. Separately, the department said it will begin interviews for the posted youth services coordinator position.
Board members approved the plan to draft a letter and proceed with recruitment steps for the open position.
