The Wolfeboro Planning Board on July 1 received a memorandum from the Municipal Electric Department notifying the board that electric crews plan to trim trees along Cotton Valley Road. The department stated it will not cut trees or branches over 15 inches in circumference at this location.
The item was presented as a notice in the meeting packet; the board did not need to take action. Chair Doug Breskin invited comment; none was recorded and there was no public comment. The board noted the department has handled similar trimming projects on other roads in the past and that the notice was primarily informational for residents and staff.
Staff were not asked to take any additional action at the meeting, and the Planning Department will monitor any follow-up communications from the Municipal Electric Department.
