West Aurora USD 129 adopts Inquiry Journeys elementary social science curriculum for up to $290,000

The West Aurora USD 129 Board of Education voted June 16 to adopt Inquiry Journeys as the district’s new elementary social science curriculum, approving purchase and materials costs not to exceed $290,000.

During the information and action portion of the meeting, a speaker moved that the board “approve the adoption of Inquiry Journeys as the new elementary social science curriculum resource for a total price including materials not to exceed $290,000.” The motion was moved and seconded, and the board approved the adoption on a roll-call vote.
