Lewis County ratifies energy audit contract and extends Commerce-funded LED project at Law and Justice Center

Lewis County commissioners on July 1 ratified a contract with Millig Design Build to provide energy audits and clean-building compliance planning and authorized an amendment to a Washington State Department of Commerce contract to complete LED lighting upgrades at the Law and Justice Center through the remainder of 2025.
Ryan Barrett, county manager, said the Millig Design Build contract is funded through a WOSAC grant and described the work as energy audits and clean-building compliance planning. Barrett said resolution 25-186 ratifies an extension of the Department of Commerce contract so LED upgrades can be completed through 2025.
The commission approved the items as part of the deliberation slate by a 3-0 vote.
