The Lewis County Board of County Commissioners on July 1 approved an interlocal agreement (resolution 25-178) that shares funding for a mental-health court program coordinator between Lewis County Superior Court and the City of Chehalis.
Stacy Warner of Lewis County Superior Court said the agreement "funds half of the position," enabling collaboration between the court's mental-health court program and the City of Chehalis' therapeutic courts treatment court program. Warner said the City's contribution totals $42,376 for one year, covering the period beginning July 1, 2025 and extending to February (year cited in the meeting record).
Warner said the agreement is essentially a continuation of a prior arrangement and that Sofia Lemacher, the mental-health court program coordinator, is working with the program.
The commission moved, seconded and approved the set of deliberation resolutions, including 25-178, by a 3-0 vote.
