Terrell City Council members on July 1 discussed a proposed $1.6 million improvement plan for Kings Creek Park that is part of the city’s 2017 parks master plan and funded in part by a $750,000 Texas Parks and Wildlife grant. Staff said the grant covers only park work; the city would need to provide about $840,000 to complete the project as proposed.
