The Santaquin Community Development and Renewal Agency on Tuesday approved the sale of a 1.95‑acre lot to Alika Fisher, owner of Summit Veterinary Clinic, for a new veterinary clinic site.

Staff said the lot will require retaining walls, fill and other site work. Alika Fisher told the board she has operated a mobile clinic and aims to establish a permanent clinic in phase 1, with a second building reserved for future expansion.
The board convened as the CDRA, and the record shows a motion to adopt Resolution 07012025 for the sale of real property. The motion was seconded and passed with the council in CDRA session recording votes: Art (Aye), Jeff (Aye), Lynn (Aye), Travis (Aye). The city attorney confirmed the sale documents and purchase agreement could be signed while the purchaser was present and notarized.
