The coroner, speaking during a commission briefing, said, "We have been seeing a lot of, more overdose deaths, and there's a little bit of a difference in the deaths that we're seeing. They're kind of mixed toxicology ... fentanyl, methamphetamines, and now we're seeing MDMA." The office has recorded days with two to four fatal overdoses occurring within hours of one another.
