The Centerville City Council unanimously approved a final bond reduction on July 1, releasing the remaining $64,900 for a Summerhill Lane subdivision drain line. The council approved the bond reduction as presented by city staff and the city engineer.
A city engineering representative told the council the land‑drain improvements had been completed and recommended release of the remaining bond amount; because the work is a private improvement, no 12‑month warranty is required. The motion to approve the bond reduction was made and seconded and passed with all councilmembers voting aye.
City packets for the meeting contain the city engineer’s recommendation and the bond documentation for the Summerhill Lane subdivision. The council did not add conditions or require a warranty; staff will administratively complete the bond‑release steps following the council’s vote.
