Board approves memorandum of agreement with school administrators unit through 2029–2030

The Board of Education approved a memorandum of agreement with the East Islip Association of School Administrators (EIASA) covering the period July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2030. The prior labor agreement covered July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2025, and district and EIASA representatives negotiated a successor agreement that the membership ratified.
A motion to approve the memorandum of agreement was made by Mike Dorgan, seconded by Chris Zachary, and carried on a voice vote. Board members thanked administrators and bargaining-unit representatives for their work on the successor agreement.
The board's resolution authorizes the district to implement the terms of the memorandum of agreement; the full terms were not read into the record during the meeting.
