Liberty High School construction progressing; Huffman Corporation praised

The superintendent told the board that construction work at Liberty High School is progressing quickly and that Huffman Corporation has been "doing a fabulous job" on site.
The superintendent and facilities staff said the district's maintenance team is working alongside the contractor to address plumbing, valves, electrical and door work. Chad (project coordination) and Wayne (vendor/consultant) were cited for coordinating progress and bringing material samples so work could continue without delay. The superintendent said he was "very impressed with how quickly and how diligent they're working to get things completed."
Staff described a temporary concern over bathroom floors that was investigated and resolved; they said maintenance and the contractor corrected leaking valves and other items that might have disrupted progress. The superintendent also commended Al Quidley and the facilities group for their responsiveness.
No vote or formal action was taken; the update was provided as part of the superintendent's report.
