Board members clarified the agreements do not cover police services. One board member asked whether policing was included; Shannon replied, “Correct. We’re covered through the sheriff’s department.” The board discussed the proposed 75 percent/25 percent or 80 percent/20 percent splits for dispatch and noted the change requested by a participating municipality.
No formal motion or contract award for the interlocal agreements appears in the meeting record. Staff said the proposed contracts and the revised dispatch cost allocations are included in the board packet for further review.
