The Downtown Development Authority reviewed Resolution 4, Series 2025, which documents the DDA’s approved cost-share award to the City of Woodland Park to help pay consultant services for the Bergstrom Park master-plan project.
Staff reminded the board that the DDA previously approved a not-to-exceed 50% cost-share award capped at $25,000; the contract with Logan Simpson for consulting services is currently about $49,000. The resolution requests that the city council amend the DDA budget to appropriate the $25,000 city-side contribution so the cost share can be tracked in paper records.
Josh (city staff) told the board the resolution is being placed on the meeting record for transparency; he said the substance of the award was approved in October and this paperwork step formalizes the budget appropriation. No additional board vote was recorded at the meeting; staff indicated the item had been previously approved and that city council action would be required to amend the DDA budget when the appropriation is executed.
