The training subcommittee agreed to develop a one‑page resource document and grouped FAQs for different audiences — providers, prehospital staff, social workers/nurses/pastoral care, and consumers — and to form a subcommittee to revise the MOLST website.
Members said a single, concise resource page with 1–2 links per audience would be more user‑friendly than a large, undifferentiated FAQ. The resource page would be attached to the overview slide deck and to CT Train course pages so learners can download and retain the material. One member offered the Department’s CT Train model used in other statewide trainings as a template: training plus a downloadable resource manual.
Committee participants noted the existing FAQ on the MOLST website had not been revised recently and recommended collecting questions now so the full advisory council can review them at the next large meeting. The group asked that members compile common questions they receive and bring them to the larger advisory meeting; staff will collate submissions and propose a structure (one master page vs. audience‑specific pages).
The subcommittee also proposed a separate website working group to update preamble language and links. Members suggested reaching out to known partners (palliative care, pastoral services, UConn, Sacred Heart) to consolidate resources for the public‑facing materials.
Next steps: assemble a draft one‑page resource document, attach it to CT Train and the overview slides, nominate a small website subcommittee, and present recommended FAQ structure at the upcoming full‑committee meeting.
