The Santaquin Community Development and Renewal Agency (CDRA) and the city’s Local Building Authority approved their respective expenditures for fiscal year 2024–25 during Monday’s special meeting.
Councilmembers convened as the CDRA and, after brief remarks that funds and plans were available for future use, moved to accept the agency’s expenditures for 2024–25. The council then convened as the Local Building Authority and, after confirming members had reviewed the packet, approved those expenditures as well. Both votes were recorded as unanimous voice approvals.
During the CDRA item the presiding officer said the agency “has some pretty good funds that are there” and referenced existing plans for future use; no members requested changes. For the Local Building Authority, staff asked whether any expenditures needed clarification; none were raised before the motion to approve.
Both actions were procedural approvals of planned expenditures; no new programs, contract awards, or amendments were introduced during those agenda items as recorded in the meeting session.
