District places Microscribe purchase order to host policies online; site to go live this summer

Jody (staff member) told the committee that the district has placed a purchase order with Microscribe to host and publish the district's policies online. Jody said she has downloaded the policies that currently appear on the district website and that, "once we send the check over to Microscribe and get them up and running, I'm gonna send everything over to them, and they're gonna start working. It will not be live until sometime during the summer."
Committee members said a searchable online policy repository would be a useful resource for parents and administrators. Jody said the new Microscribe-hosted site would not be live until summer and that staff will provide the files to the vendor after the purchase order and payment process are complete.
No formal vote or adoption was required; staff said they will notify the committee when the Microscribe site is live.
